promote use of this forum

I'm obviously going into overdrive on my posts today but this forum could be extremely valuable to VIP (org, staff, sponsors etc) if more of us were to use it (where possible).

Can I suggest that we note the web address and the fact that there is a free forum to collect feedback on the daily progress sheets? I appreciate it's a bit more writing for staff but hopefully the minute or so spent coudl be worht it on the return generated? Perhaps some posters on the noticeboards outside and inside play areas too?

We are in the process of collecting email addresses for all of our parents so that we can notify them directly in-line with the company's Green Policy.

Also the April Newsletter has full details about the Parents Forum bulletin board and is actively encouraging parents and staff to use it more frequently. The more people who use it the more effective it becomes as a form of communication.

I don't quite understand what you mean about daily progress sheets - could you give me some more information please? Can I just point out that while staff can use the site freely, the administration of this page is actually done off-site and we are therefore unable to comment on daily activities.

The daily progress sheets I refer to are the slips of paper each child gets every day currently that are completed by daily staff. Saying what they ate, nappy changes, naps, what they got up to etc etc. They probably have another name but this is what I mean.

Great news that the info about this forum will be in newsletter. Hopefully it will spur more people into at least registering. However if uptake isn't greater through this, I'm suggesting using these already produced sheets. Might be a way to capture those who don't have email (yes..it is true..I know of 2 mums with VIPers who don't so maybe this would encourage them to do this too).

I've asked the staff to put our website address on our daily sheets.
I'll produce some posters to promote the website for the notice boards.
